7-day trial

How the trial works

7 days of Big, card required. Nothing is charged until day 8, and you can cancel any time before that in Settings. If you don't cancel, Big continues at the monthly or yearly price you chose. We remind you in the app a day before. A new account without a trial stays on Free.

Delayed 15 min

How fresh the data is

Market data is delayed 15 minutes on every plan, counted from when a trade is published. A trade reported late appears 15 minutes after its report. The chip in the app shows the delay and the time of the data. Alerts use the same data, so they carry the same delay, and each alert says when it happened and when it reached you.

Is the data real-time?

Market data is delayed 15 minutes. The app always shows the delay and the time of the data.

Does BigTape show whether the buyer or the seller started a trade?

No. Every trade has a buyer and a seller, and trade reports don't say which side started it. BigTape never guesses, and nothing here is a recommendation to trade.

What do I get for free?

The whole product on the eleven sector ETFs: XLF, XLK, XLY, XLP, XLE, XLV, XLI, XLB, XLU, XLRE and XLC, delayed 15 minutes. Every feature is included, with one chart at a time and three alert rules in the app. You also choose one more ticker, any covered stock or ETF, and can change it once a day; alerts stay on the eleven. Every other ticker comes with Big. Free has no time limit.

How does the trial work?

Start it from the Big button or any upgrade prompt. You add a card first; nothing is charged for 7 days. On day 8 the plan starts at the monthly or yearly price you chose unless you cancel before then in Settings, Plan and billing, which also shows the end date and what bills next. We remind you in the app 1 day before. One trial per account.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel in Settings in as few steps as it took to sign up. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, then you move to Free. Your first purchase can be refunded in full within 7 days; the billing page has the details.

Are alerts delayed too?

Yes. Alerts use the same data as the chart, so they carry the same delay. Each alert shows when it happened and when it reached you, for example "Happened 10:42:07 ET · delivered 10:57:07 ET (data delayed 15 min)". Alerts can arrive late or not at all.

Which stocks and ETFs are covered?

BigTape covers U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs. Trade history starts in January 2016, or on a ticker's first covered day if later. Each chart shows its own start month.

Can I use BigTape for work?

Yes. Nonprofessional and professional subscribers can choose Big or Bigger. Professional subscribers receive 15-minute-delayed data on either membership. Each account is for one person.

Is the data real?

No. Every chart on this site uses generated sample data, marked SAMPLE DATA.
